HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA- Huntington Beach’s own, Vaughn Popp earns an invite to one of the biggest showcases in America. Vaughn will travel to Naples, Florida to compete against some of the top Quarterbacks in the nation from July 8th-10th at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex.
In 2021, Vaughn threw for 1 varsity touchdown that was a 41 yard pass while backing up 2022 Quarterback, AJ Perez. Through the off-season, Popp has shown more and more improvement on day to day basis, sharing reps and competing with 2023 Katella transfer, Daunte Bell for the starting Quarterback spot for the Oilers season opener against Mayfair on August 19th at 7pm.
